In Q1 of 2023, Banijay Americas went through a restructure, with Endemol Shine shifting from a holding company and studio company into a pure-play content studio. My role with Banijay Americas remained unchanged and I coordinated several partnerships that you can read more about in my experience page. Please read about the restructure below:

Finally in 2021, I worked as a paid — full time wildland fire fighter with CAL FIRE’s San Bernardino Unit in a Type 1 Hand-crew. In August of 2019, I accepted an internship opportunity through the Television Academy Foundation’s Diversity and Inclusion Internship Program. I was placed at ITV America for a full-time — paid experience, where I worked in development for unscripted television. I reported to the SVP of Development, and the Development Executive who gave me a lot of mentorship. During this amazing opportunity, I was able to attend the Creative Arts Emmy’s. I also attended professional development workshops hosted by the Television Academy Foundation, in which they brought industry guests to talk about their experiences in their work environments. After finishing the program, I officially became a foundation alumni. You can read more about the program featured in Variety by clicking the image on the left.
In 2019, I was accepted into the Evolve Entertainment Fund program, a program that was launched by filmmaker Ava DuVernay, producer Dan Lin, and Mayor Eric Garcetti. Evolve is a public-private partnership aimed at creating new opportunities for communities that have been historically excluded from the entertainment industry. Evolve is dedicated to building career pathways into film, television, and music for women, people of color, and low-income Angelenos through paid internships, focused mentoring, and an ongoing series of workshops and panels. Through the program, I accepted a couple internships at Fabrik Entertainment and Good Fear Film + Mgmt. You can read more about the program by clicking on the image on the left.
From January - May of 2019, I directed a documentary that showcases the non profit: Boyle Heights Arts Conservatory. Located in the heart of Boyle Heights, their mission is creating pathways for youth to careers in film, television broadcasting, and digital content creation. The non profit advocates for the development of a new framework towards diversity in the creative arts, media, and technology fields — one that is socially and economically inclusive, and accurately reflects the City of Los Angeles in terms of ethnicity, gender, and age. The most effective way to do this is by dismantling the many barriers to equal opportunities in the arts and creative industries, so that they , as well as those interested in pursuing such careers therein, can truly grow and thrive. The documentary premiered at Hauser and Wirth — an international fine art gallery — in Downtown LA. You can read more about this by clicking the image on the left.
